A while back - I thought that i had put the side stand down completely but did not.and the scoot fell over on the left side..... After I inspected it for body damage - just a few scratches on the tupperware (No big deal!) BUT I noticed that the dash panel which fits around the keyhole and emergency brake became dislodged and no matter what I do - I cannot seem to get it locked back in place....... with the other interlocking dash parts....... so I keep pushing it back in...... Just cosmetic but irritates me to no end.

Anyone got any GOOD suggestions.??? Please............

I'd probably go ahead and take the tupperware off just to make sure that the plastic is snapped together properly. I've taken it off a few times, and sometimes I won't get a tab put back in just the right place and it throws the fit off. It is not inconceivable to me that the drop may have popped some of those plastic tabs loose (or even broke them off).

If everything is in its proper place, maybe you could just force it into position like you're doing and park it in the sun for a while and let the heat help it take a "set".

It may also be that the drop caused one or more of the metal mounting brackets underneath the Tupperware to be bent.
Hmmmmmm...!!! I will take a good look at that. Thanks again, John
