Think I jacked up my oil drain plug during my first oil change. Nice;right?

Anyone in San Diego have an extra to buy, borrow, or steal :x Dealer says he cant get one in for 5-6 days.

Wow. It threads into aluminum- wondering how you messed it up- Auto parts stores sell replacement plugs, might get lucky and find an equivalent

May have turned it the wrong way It happends, Some time you forget , For now just Use RTV Slicone for a temporary fix until you can Order a new One!!! Put the RTV Slicone around the tread thick and wait for it to dry.

But if the treads are Gone and worn out you have to re tread it with a Bigger Bore!!

Went down to Scooterwest aka Vespa Motorsports. Spoke to Jeff "Robot", is was very helpful and made an appointment for me to come down and put a helicoil in. quoted me $60. I'll take it!

I may have to order one of these just in case so I don't have to wait a week when I do need it. A fuel cap might also be a good item to have laying around.

and stop by a good tool supply place and pick up a standard and metric thread and bolt cutter set , they are great for working aluminiminiminmimin stuff, drill a hole in the frame, make your own threads now put in a screw or bolt , screw stripped on the end? fix it, and clean the screw hole too, save money for spendin on wimmin and liquid refreshments and farkles and wimmin and joolery fer wimmin and some useless stuff like groceries too
