We contemplated buying a scooter for a while. I went to our local dealer and asked about a Yamaha Majesty, and they basically informed me that they wouldn't have any and told me to look elsewhere. Service with a smile! So I made some phone calls, and went to Dothan, AL. They had a 2011 Burgman 400 with 2 miles on the clock that they wanted off the floor and made an offer I couldn't refuse. Man, I love this scooter!! I'm something north of 50 and have never had a motorcycle before. I look forward to some traveling and doing some minor dressing up of the scooter. I couldn't be happier with it. Maybe I'll see you on the road.

I too am north of 50 and love the 400. Ride it to Warm Springs some weekend and check out the Bikers Alley behind main street.
Neat place and don't forget to eat at the Bulloch House buffet.

Welcome! Enjoy your new ride! :thumbup: There are a bunch of us north of 50 here. The 400 is a great scoot, so is the 650. I liked the lower seat height as I am inseam challenged, plus I have a bum knee and a fake hip so the lower weight is good for me. Warmer weather should be here soon so we can all get more ride time in without the chill.
