Hello All,I been having a noise problems,so I disassemble the varactor and clutch.I went t a shop to find out if the belt is ok,and it is.The rollers(20 grams) seem to be ok.the was black dust in areas.He did say,use scotch brite on the pulley surface and the clutch area


So,my question is,I bought new Dr Pulley sliders(18 gram) to replace the ones in there.Like I said,there are 20 grams in there


will there be advantage to going to the dr pulley slider 18 gram???

FIRST......grind or file the edge of the spider,
where the DrPulley sliders will end up...your
sliders will last much longer....rollers never reach
the edge.
18gm sliders will give you slightly faster RPMs,
resulting is slightly faster acceleration...you
may not actually feel it.
The sliders will also result in lower RPM for a
given speed.
