I have noticed that there's beautiful scenery all over the place. I noticed it most when I visit Mom and Dad. I never saw any of it while I was growing up there, but when I go back after 35 years I look at it with new eyes.

I tried looking at my local area with new eyes too, and sure enough there was a lot of beautiful country locally despite the fact that I hadn't been noticing it!

If you like New Zealand type scenery come on up to British Columbia Canada, we have the same scenery only LOTS more of it and it's much cheaper here!:D

Been to BC and you are absolutely correct......wanted to visit Christchurch after the earthquake and take care of some university obligations at the same time.......USA/Canada have equivalent and/or more spectacular scenery......New Zealand is different/more compact.....about the size of Colorado......riding on the left required constant vigilance.......all in all, well worth the trip........
