For those of us living in British Columbia or any one who plans on visiting British Columbia, there is a great riders book available. The book title is “Destination Highways British Columbia” written by Brian Bosworth & Michael Sanders, published by “Twisted Edge Publishing Inc.”, Vancouver, B.C. I purchased a copy at Chapters bookstore. There is a book available for Washington State as well.

For more information regarding the book visit http://www.destinationhighways.com

I have found that books written for road (not trail) bicycling tours generally have served me well in picking rides in different areas. They usually talk about particular road conditions, such as twisty roads, steep downhill grades leading to blind stops, lots of cross traffic, etc and talk about restrooms, restaurants and bed and breakfasts to stay at.
