Norman, it was a photo of the Aprilia Leonardo SR500 that I saw a while ago that prompted me to do it, but was too lazy until now to do it! It took an hour or so to remove and clean each wheel, 5 minutes with a rattle can to paint, then another hour or so to put them back on! I think they look pretty cool.
havent seen those wheels but i did the same to mine. took off all the bright metal and repainted semi gloss. fork tubes all screws wheels muffler guard and tip. also did the swing arm and rear shocks. looks good to me. too a few hours to do and then a few hours to dry, and reinstall. sure make the bike stand out now. so go for it and make your burgy your very own custom.
