Well we made it I should say my wife made it I have ridden cross country and long distance rides for a really long time but it was her first we rode the seven western states in seven riding day we take one extra day in Oregon to stay at seven feathers casino to try to win enough money for the trip an extra day to visit family and one more day in Reno to see the kids. All in all great trip 3150 miles and her 2020 400 had a top speed of I think 88 mph averaged almost fifty miles per gallon and that’s at altitude loaded down with at least fifty pounds of luggage chaps heavy jackets boots etc fighting headwinds freezing cold rain and extreme heat so I told her she got all of her badges all in one trip.
Been riding about a year and a half and started at 67 years old always rode on the back with me before this. The 400 didn’t use any oil and that’s at I would say 7500 rpms most of the time from tank load to tank load longest day 470 miles longest leg 112 miles what a great ride around the BIG block hahaha California Oregon Washington Idaho Montana Utah Nevada and back to California

Sounds like a great ride. And a real riding partner. Good memories make it easier to pack up for the next ride.
