I think this has bee addressed before but I cannot find the post.
Can larger tires be mounted on the pre-07 Burgman? I am due for front and rear tires,it is rainy season here in FL, I need the extra grip. I was thinking 140/60-13 or a 150/70-13 possibly instead of the stock 130/70-13. I there enough clearance? I wanted something a little wider.

I remember it being posted about but I don't think a conclusive answer was reached as to whether or not it would work without issues. In addition to being wider the 140/60 would be a little shorter than a 130/70 and the 150/70 would be a little taller so you would have to take those things into account too.

Just buy a Michelin City Grip or a Pure Power SC - both of those tires stick like glue in wet or dry!
I'll admit I just purchased the PP SC, but what wet I have riden in it has been good. The City Grip I commuted on in all weather for the better part of a year. It's the stickiest tire I've had on anything (car or bike), wet or dry there's really not much of a difference.

+1 on the City Grips! They are a very good tire and on my Scoot now!
The other ones that stick very well are the Pirelli GTS for our scoots. They do wear slightly faster but stick like glue in all weather conditions!
