Wondered if any Burgman riders are going to stop in at the show in Raleigh tomorrow .

I'm riding over with a friend leaving from the Dunkin Donut shop on Lewisville Clemmons rd. just north of I-40 @ 9:00am

I will be on my 2012 Burgman Stone Grey, rear fender ectomy , all the chrome Burgman stuff on the sides removed .

Hope to see other Burgman riders and their farkled up maxi's

Count me in. I live in Raleigh, and can meet you there. I went last year on my Triumph. It was a pretty good showing. Should be great weather for it tomorrow.

I'll be on a bike that looks an awful lot like yours. 2012 Stone Grey w/backrest and RAM mount for the phone on the brake reservoir. Mostly stock.

I don't know anything about the restaurants at the Shops at Seaboard Station, but we have one of the highest rated BBQ restaurants in the US just a couple of miles away called The Pit.

And they have a BBQ Bluegrass festival in Raleigh next weekend.

You know, if you're looking to make a habit out of riding to the Raleigh area. :)

I'm Jamie btw. Looking forward to seeing you there.

What time do you guys think you'll be in town? I have a buddy in town that is wanting to come too. I told him I was thinking about aiming for 10:00 to 11:00. Time enough to see the bikes before getting some food and getting in some riding time tomorrow.

I'll add your # to the phone and call you when we get out there.

We are leaving @ 9:00am , it's roughly 115 miles by I-40 and then trying to find the place. Don't know our way around in Raleigh at all.
GPS say's about 2.5 hours =/- .
So I am guessing around 11:00 to 11:30am if traffic is not too bad.

It's pretty simple: I-40 to exit 298B (Saunders St., US 401 north). Follow through downtown, 401 becomes Capital Bl. Exit at Peace St (about a mile after it becomes Capital), hang a left, then another left after the Shell station, and you're there. Should be plenty of bikes to follow...
It's a perfect riding day - enjoy!
