2008 400 with 49,000 miles
Replaced inner clutch bearing last Jan. Just because it felt a little graunchy.
Replaced outer clutch bearing this Jan. Same reason. Also new belt. Put in 20g sliders but replaced 19g soon after. The sliders are in excellent condition.

Now I have this rat-a-tat at idle. OK at speed though.

It must be one of the clutch bearings? Guess I'll operate on her again :(

BUT IT WAS WORKIN TILL I FIXED IT, Just pulled the front wheel off the zero for the "it don't sound right" gripe. Found nothing, put it all back together, changed hearing aid batteries and had a refreshin beveage.

Clutch shoes 'pinging' against the bell at idle? Mine does that at idle.

/\ Yeah maybe, I'll just drive her for a while. And look for another Burg400 rider to compare idle sounds. :)
