Who has a "puffy" seat on a 650 in pa or surrounding states? I just learned of these seats and would like to sit on one to see the height difference. I don't need height but do need comfort. I can only go 1.5 hours with out a little rest for my butt. I live near bloomsburg pa. thanks, gene

Puffy seat? I did what you could have or maybe already have and found this: /viewtopic.php?f=16&t=61224 in our forums. Sounds like buyers remorse and an attempt to recoup money spent on something that didn't work for them.

I find that a gel lined sheepskin pad is the best ride that I can find. Try looking at http://www.alaskaleatheronline.com. These sheepskins with gel are excellent. I don't leave home without it. I also don't buy shoes or motorcycle seats without trying them on first....

Gene,

I believe you are referring to what is now called my "Puffy Seat". Based on your location, the nearest customer would be down in Winchester, VA. I believe there were a few at the the rally in New Holland, PA this past weekend.

My I add My 2 cents on said topic, about puffy seats I had My seat redone last year by http://www.burgmanbrothers.com From Cary and I have not looked back he can re-do your seat and make it fill 200% better then stock, I live Near Winchester Virginia, so if you are close enough I would be happy to let you see and test mine out, I did this late last year for someone else who was interested in one of Carys seats as well, you can go like me and get a different seat cover or he can re-use the stock cover your choice, but I have had many different seat pads that you put on top on your seat then sit on some where good and some not , but your still riding on top of something that can move around; un-like having your seat re-done from the inside, and your not adding extra height to the seat or you. I would go to his web site and see the Pic. for your self mine is there as well it is the white 650 burggy with Brown seat, and Like I said have Not look back and really enjoy my bike even better now. hope this helps and gives you a little more info. Ride safe and Happy Trails. Zack

Here are the pictures of Zack's seat. http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected] ... 995832353/ This seat has the basic version (meaning it will fit under a stock seat cover). This is not the Puffy version. Here are my recommendation guideline.

Basic Seat: Under 250lb, can ride an hour straight before getting uncomfortable, do not ride 300-400 mile days ($130-$260)

Puffy Seat: Big Guy, 300lb +, tailbone goes numb in 20 minutes, hip discomfort after 30 minutes, regularly does 300 mile days. ($285 for most seats)

Not everyone fits in the guidelines as all of our tushies are slightly different. This is best stated by those that have no issues with the stock seat.
