I must use all of my 220 pounds to put that big scoot up on the centerstand. While balancing it off of the side stand. This is difficult!
There must be a easier way to do this..

...and the side stand is a little too short.

I agree that the center stand needs to be re-engineered but have a different take. The current placement of the center stand places far too much weight on the front wheel making it very difficult to (1) remove the bike from the center stand and (2) even more difficult to rotate the front wheel for cleaning. Moving the mounting point 1/2 inch should correct these deficiencies.

The last thing we need is more weight and /or complexity on our Burgies. I agree with Ben that the position of the stand could be improved on, but old and decrepid as I am, I have no problem raising the bike onto the stand. It's all about technique, not strength, this has been discussed here at length before.
