What about getting all the Southern Ontario Scooter Riders meeting in Kitchener and heading down to this rally. They are expecting over 100,000 bikes. Every Friday the 13th during the year all the bikers gather in this little town on the Shores of Lake Erie. This year there is only one Friday the 13th during the riding months and it is in May.
Wouldn't it be neat to have 6 - 10, or more, Burgmans show up in a group? Here is a link to the web site: http://www.pd13.com/

Not to exclude anyone else that wants to come. It is sort of a one day thing. Would take about 2 hours from Kitchener. If there is enough interest I will iron out the details. Meeting place, time, etc. etc.

Hi Arby
I'll be looking for that one of a kind blue Burgman of yours at Dover.

Hey Rod long time no hear...or see. Hows Liz? You 2 have been pretty quiet over the winter. I havent forgotten the Spring breakfast ride and I'm looking forward to another meet up.

As far as Dover goes I am going to do everything in my powers at work to make sure I can go that day. Hopefully I can swing it.

Hi Al
My bikes are still plowed in the backyard tucked warmly inside my shed. When I set them free, I'll have to get mine in for the 6k tuneup.
I'm working nights Fri 12...however I'm trying to work a switch to go with some of my workmates in the morning.
When the weather warms up, we can arrange another breakfast meet. I'm looking forward to some Mennonite sausage!

Rod! Where you been hiding? Debbie just reminded me today that we need to start planning that St. Jacobs run. We were just out in that area this afternoon looking at cottages. Are you going to Port Dover?

Arby....I've been hibernating.
I'm probably going up with a few guys from work, but we are still making arrangements...probably up to last minute. So I might see you there.
Does that stone crock restaurant in St Jacobs still serve an all u can eat mennonite breakfast on Saturdays?

I'll check into it. St. Jacobs is only about 10 minutes from my house. Beautiful little tourist town. From there we could take a run into Elora, do the casino thing for a half hour - or just throw $20 bucks in the door - then maybe back up to Guelph so you guys can catch the 401 back. Still waiting for ScooterRider (aka Jim) to get back from Florida so we can plan this run. Am thinking sometime in the middle of May.

Just thought I would bring this forward to see if anyone wanted to do the Port Dover Friday the 13th run. I haven't really heard if anyone wanted to go.

I'm a no go :? My shift doesnt correspond with a ride to Dover. I'm on afternoons that week and I start at 1:30 in the afternoon and finish at 8:00pm. Good luck and enjoy your ride.

Friday the 13th

Hi All:
I'll be heading down from London. THe weather is called for 20 deg.C and partly cloudy (perfect scooter weather). Anyone want to meed or ride down together? I plan on taking the scenic route down highway 3 as the SO has never been on a bike before. It'd be nice to have a line of Burrgys present.

Sorry Harold, didn't look like anyone was interested so I didn't book the day off as vacation and now it's too late. Maybe we can try again next year.

Oh Great!

I get my exec tomorrow (May 12th Thursday), and my boss shuts down the plant every Friday the 13th cause he's a biker.

Well it wil depend on the weather anyway, and how confident I feel after only having the burg for new day.

Last time I checked it was going to be sunny and cold for most of the day with showers late in the day.
Might be do-able.

Just got my new burg a few minutes ago, noonish. :D

Seriously thinking about going. Long johns etc, rain gear.
