While rummaging thru google news archives, I ran across this link to scooter pictures from Menorca. No idea where that is. But what peaked my interest was these were the first pics I've seen of police scooters. I've often thought the Burgman 650 would be a great city police bike.

Interesting pictures. Never thought of that - but I think you are right. Compared to the Harley that is typically used over here, it is more economical, quicker in handling and acceleration, and certainly easier to get on and off of.
