My wife (5' 4 1/2") , said her feet had a tendency to point out a bit when riding. I was looking at the passinger pegs that one of the members had on theirs. After much fiddiling around me and my wife decided to make them Wider.

I cut a peice. of 1/4" Mahagony plywood to use as a spacer where the rubber went, then took a piece of 1x6 (3/4 x 5 1/2") to set on top. After about 3 hrs of cutting, routering, and sanding, I now have passinger floor boards that are a full 5 1/5 " wide in the front and 4" wide at the rear, and a full 12" long. After I get longer bolts I will mount them, countersinking them, I have 1 cote of clear-cote on them now and I wanted to keep them that way, but decided to paint them black, and put reflective tape on the edge with"No Skid" material on the top.

Doing it this way I can always go back to the stock set up.
I will post pics. when they are completly done.
