Art if you go to the gallery and follow the instructions for mounting the Givi top case but substitute your backrest you will be all set. They both use the same mounting holes that are pre-marked on the underside of the bodywork.http://burgmanusa.com/gallery/Givi-Mount-Install
Allan, thanks for the tip, I just viewed that Givi installation you recommended and it seems like a fairly straightforward job. It will be a while before I actually do it as I want to get the Givi side cases and paint everything at one time.
