Had a garage door come down on me this morning hitting me in the head. OUCH!
I now have all the symptoms of a concussion. Wonderful!
I might have been unconscious briefly but not sure...it's all kinda fuzzy since it happened.
Glad I was able to stagger to the house and had a bag of frozen peas to keep the swelling down.
Now I have to replace the spring that broke on the roll up door when I feel better.
Thank goodness it is a rainy nasty weekend and I don't plan on riding any way.
My brain hurts.....

That looks a bit like mine looked when I dropped the transmission I was trying to install into a Ford Pinto on my head. When I came to my senses I crawled out from under the car, cleaned up and bandaged the cut then went back down and stabbed the transmission. Didn't have much choice, needed it to drive to school the next day.

I just couldn't stand it Hammer.
The rain stopped and the sun came out at 2pm and I had to ride.
So I went to the corner store 3 blocks away and put on 30 miles. 8)
Had to wear my dew-rag to keep the blood off the helmet liner. :blackeye:
Still a touch blurry in one eye but I should be ok or as ok as I ever was.

Thanks LoJo! It could have been worse.
I only needed tylenol for 3 days and now feel much better and my vision has cleared up.
Now I just need my hair to grow back where I got scalped a bit. 8)

I understand Scootereno. The rain has just quit, sun gleaming through clouds and trees, it's quiet and cool, the bike breeze is hung with the scent of green. Surely there must be some physio-mechanical reason that my Burger runs sooo smoothly after a rainfall but I like to think the Burger enjoys it as much as I do. Of course I usually am not traumatized to the head and whoosie with brain pain, scalp bloodied and vision impaired when I do  but like I said...I understand. 8)

Had a brain injury in 75 when I pullrd my normal G.I. trick after getting off a midnight. Stupidly I flew down the street on my 380 Suzuki GT, flew up my drive, planning my usual sideways slide into my parking spot! NOT ! My wife had hung some hanging flower pots up in the carport T ohe of them hit a 25 year old idiot off the bike. Bike was fine due to a crash bar, but it got my attention head wise! Hoe did I live to be 64? The Don
