OMG!! Is my bike Alive??!!

Ok so just minutes ago, one of the kids that I babysit (who's 7) is in my room playing video games. So I says to him, "Since I'm so nice in letting you play games, why don't you do me a huge favor!" He asks "What." And I tell him "Go downstairs into the Garage and get my camera out of my Scooter's boot." He says "Okay". And so the fun begins...

About a minute later he reappears at my door empty handed with an odd look on his face.. "Well?", I ask.
He says "I went into the garage and I heard someone say something!"
I'm like "Ya, ok. So where's my camera??"
"I didn't get it!"
"Why not??"
"Because I heard someone in the garage saying: 'hhhhheeeeeeyyyyyy'!"
So now I'm slightly concerned, wondering if we have people in our garage. I say to him "So you want me to come downstairs with you then?"
He vigorusly nods his head.

So together we walk downstairs and to the garage. I open the door and we go in. "Well, nobody's here! you sure you heard something?"
"Yeah! It sounded like somebody said 'hhhhheeeeeeeyyyyyy'!"
"You sure it wasn't coming from outside??"
"Uh-uh! It was in here!"
"Okay what did it sound like? An old man??"
And even he could barely answer this and keep a straight face. He says "No, it kinda sounded like..

a...

sheep!"

After we both laughed that one off, I proceeded to my scooter to open the seat to get the camera out, but it was locked! I said "Dude! You made me come all the way down here and forget the key???" He rolled his eyes and sand said "Yeah right!"

So as we both were walking out of the garage, I turned back to have one last look around... And that's when I heard it!!!!!!

It was the same Odd Noise that I mentioned in another post coming from my Burg!! The soft moaning baby (sheepish) "aaah" sound that seems to originate from the rear shocks when I first sit on the bike after a long while! Except now it was doing it on its own, as if it were calling to me saying "Don't go!" It must have been trying to communicate when Mikey first went into the garage!

This was all very odd indeed. So I asked it straight out. "Are you alive?? Can you talk? Make the sound again if you can!!!" And you know what?

It didn't.

"Nurse, I think he's got out of his straight jacket again..!"

S'funny thing, but I think he's right - the Burgers DO exhibit strange noises, squeaks & moans that I can't recall encountering on any other two wheeler of my acquaintance?!

Could the ECU be sentient? :D
I'm working on recording the sound right this moment, as well as a snap of it sitting there for good measure... I'll edit it into this space when done...

Ok here's the sound.

And here's a look at the beast itself, fully alive! Note the beastly eye...

I wonder if mine does that and I just don't know...
Nice scenario -but the more boring truth is ......your fuel tank is farting.
Now you went and spoiled the fun Norman. I still like to think it is saying rrrriiiidddddeee mmmmeee, especially when I've a " Honey do list" :D

Ah, so it's passing gas eh? Wow, we could go all sorts of places with that one! However, that's all the more reason to think it's alive! And it's obviously not very polite about it...!
Is it the woooooo sound or the clicky sound? I think the clicky sound is from you holding the recording device and moving it

Yes, it's definitely the wooooooooing sound.
The clicks was from holding my phone at the rear of the bike and pulling the bike off of its sidestand at the same time.
hmm maybe I'll hear it someday but at least now I know what it is
Hmm. By the looks of it, your Burgman has a thing against other 2 wheelers. Looks at the bikes on the other side of the garage. I'd say it's possessed!
You know...? And those bikes were standing upright just last night!

Yup, and it's the flammable kind like human gas.
Poltergeist farts? Burgman outgassing? Potter's Deathly Hallows?
For the very first time since new I heard the "noise" the morning of "Ride to Work Day" (last wednesday) - it was phenomenal and I almost laughed out loud! - 'smatter of fact - I think I did!

:D :D :D
You've got a 524 lbs burgman parked on a magic carpet and you wonder why the carpet is having trouble screaming?

:laughing6:

When I first looked at the picture, I couldn't help but focus on the carpets. Now I know why they're in the garage: that's where you keep your vehicles. I do have one question, though. Do magic carpets get boring after a while? Just wondering why you have the Burgman, is all.
Ok you guys, you're not that observant. If you look on the top shelf above the burg, there is R2D2's baby. It probably just needs a changing or it is afraid of heights. Prob. solved!

andy
Now we're getting somewhere.

Was it R2-P3, who needed a diaper change?

Was it the magic carpet, suffocating under the Burgman?

Was it the bicycle, moaning after having the $#!% beat out of it?

Or, was it that tiny motorcycle in the middle of the picture revving its engine?
