What would normally be about a 45 minute job has turned into a 2 week adventure. Why, you ask? All because some guy before me decided that the pins need to be so freaking tight that they won't come out. Where as the book (shop manual) shows that they only need 16.5 ft/lbs of torque!

I'm sure you've been dreaming to know what the muffler gasket looks like on a 400, well wait no longer:

And look what happens when you over torque your brake caliper pins:

I had to drill out the hex 5mm to 1/4" and use a screw extractor to get it out, it easily had 40 ft/lbs of torque on it. Spec is 16.5 ft/lbs.

So, here I sit waiting for a couple new caliper pins.
