I'm just developing an oil pressure guage maybe coupled with a warning light for the 400. I've managed for years without but have heard of quite a number that have seized due to forgetting to dip the oil. With mine having an oil leak 80 miles see's the level go from top to bottom so I thought it's about time I had something that would warn/indicate low oil pressure.
Let me know if you interested and I may get a few knocked up.

Wouldn't it be better to fix the "oil leak" first.
And do a regular oil level check.

It would be but this is in case you loose pressure. e.g. low oil level, pump failure, worn pump etc.
Because the first you would know about any of these would be your engine seizing up or minimum doing some nasty damage.
