Hi,

I am installing the e529 plate on my 2011 650 Exec and want to know how I am to put the whole in the mounting plate for the light kit...

there is an outline and an obvious spot for the light kit contacts to go on the plate, but is the whole to be punched out or drilled out?

the instructions are lacking in this area

Turn the mounting plate upside down you'll see the area that needs to be drilled out in order to install base-plate contact (it's at the rear of the plate).

Pick a socket that just fits the size of the hole...can't remember the size...put an extension on it and give it a whack

I think I gave mine a tap with a ball pein hammer from above and made it good with a round file.
