Held off buying a new Burgman 400 last year in anticipation of a new model for 2014. Well as we are aware that has not happened probably due somewhat to the focus on the new VSrom 1000. Following years of serial bike changing I want to keep the Burgman for a minimum of three years hence the retisen to buy. Has anyone got the inside track on timescales. Shurley it must be imminent as the current model is some seven years old now.

Personally, I like a model that has run for several years. It means there's parts readily available.
I buy used and ride the snot out of it. Got my K8 400 for 2K..... nuff said!

I would just stick with a used current model. I bought my K7 when they first came out and I think it took a year for Suzuki to shake things out. Don't get me wrong, its a great bike, but in K8 they put in a better clutch, exhaust gasket, and probably a few other things I don't know about. Unless you want to wait a year AFTER the new model comes out, best just to buy what's out now.

And buying used, you don't take that dealer depreciation hit in its value.
