I have sat on the MP3 version and found it comfortable as long as you don't mind the one position. I felt like my feet were hancuffed in place. I see these all over CL for sale with few miles. The Aprillia's do seem to be pretty reliable tho.
A few years ago, a guy on this Burgman forum mentioned that his wife misses riding her Burgman with him but she cant ride because she lost a foot. I mentioned the Piaggio bikes and how you can lock the front axle so that you never have to go "feet down" and he told me that he went right out the next day and bought one for his wife.
