I am a 61 former Harley rider looking to make a move to a Burgman 650. Any other Burgman riders living out here?

Welcome.....I never owned a Harley but have had several Goldwings. I'm 65 and wanted something smaller
but still fast enough to keep up with traffic. Got the BUrgman 650 and it is a joy to ride. Had to deal with
my head a little wondering what all the other riders thought about me....but decided it was okay and I can
beat or keep up with most of them anyhow.....still get a wave from a lot of them and it feels better than the
Goldwing on my legs and hips. I grew up in Brookings, SD. but now live in Colorado.....The Black Hills is my
favorite place to go.

Welcome Neo. I think there are some from that area. Been to the Black Hills every other year sense I've been married. We go back to S.D on the even # years to visit the in-laws as my wife is from S.D. Been doing it for 30 years :thumbup: come June. Wish I could bring my Burgman along with my 5th wheel. Might have to look into a lift for the rear of the trailer. :wink:

Welcome! I have family in the Dakota's and my Grandfather donated his homestead as a wildlife refuge at Fort Robinson (Petersen Wildlife Refuge). Dances with Wolves was filmed on our family land. The Black Hills are so neat and I love to visit the area all except those pesky black flies. My Harley buddy's all respect my little 400 after they have seen it perform and especially the storage and comfort level it provides....not to mention the reliability of it compared to their Harley's. Going to a big HD swap meet Sunday on my little scooter with them.
