Hi all ... new owner as of 2 weeks ago today. 2008 AN400, loving it. Had been riding a Honda PC800 but it kind of outgrew me and I needed something a little smaller; found a great person on Craigslist who was selling his Burgman. Turned out he was interested in something a little bigger, so we did a swap plus a few dollars; met at the DMV; retagged/retitled both of them; he drove the PC800 home, I drove the Burgman home.

1 question to start my stay here ... what's the difference between an AN400 and an AN400A? I think those are the two designations I've come across.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new ride. There is plenty of info here for you to learn about the 400.

400A is the designation for the later models that have ABS.

Howdy from Lafayette In, Tell us a little about your Burgman. Does it have any accesoreis, aftermarket windshield, top case. I have opted for GIVI top cases on both my Burg and Silverwing/ I like the added safety of the stop lights up where people can see them.
