Hey folks, thanks for having me. I am not an owner of a Burgman yet; but this is all part of what I do when I am looking to make a major purchase. I am an old new rider: 60, 4 years of riding. My current bike is a 2000 Honda ACE 750. Sweet ride, but I am getting older and I am looking to get something less taxing to get familiar with and hopefully keep till the end of my riding days, whenever that ever comes. Besides , most of my buddies are on Burgmans already. I also live in the fog belt of the Fundy Coast, and better weather protection is a must. Scooters have more of it than bikes. I aim to ride longer and more often.

Welcome Cotetoi.......
what part of The Bay are you close to ??
Checking the Nova Scotia webcams, it appears
that the tide is out, as I write this.

Thank you, Duster. I am from Saint John. Right on the Bay. I didn't know they had webcams on the Nova Scotia side of the bay. I'll check them out sometime. I see that you have had your ride for at least 7 years. Would you buy a new one or would you look for a particular year's model? I am new to scooters, and have researched extensively ( time to **** or get off the pot) , maybe too much so: I am still torn between the Majesty and the 400. The lower seat height of the 400 is better suited for a short guy like myself. It seems to all point to the 400, but I'm like a stubborn mule: I'm at the well, but @%$#@%#^8. That's the reason I am here. I want to know the experience ( good and bad ) of actual owners, not the gobbledeegook that reviewers get paid to spew out after a 2 hour wet lunch. Any light you can shed for me would be much appreciated.
