I just picked up a used 03 650 with a 1000 miles on it. Mint condition....and I love it. Road it home yesterday. I can't believe this is a scooter....puts my old cruiser to shame.

I did a lot of research on the burg 650 from this website. Thanks to all for sharing. I felt very comfortable about buying the scooter after having read so many great comments posted on this forum. I actually located the burg using Burgman USA.

Unfortunately winter is closing in so my scooter will be sitting in my garage for a couple of months. Can't wait till spring to get her roll'n
Camn anyone reccommend a cover? I may eventually go with a top box so I will want one I can "grow" in to.

Welcome Buck, the more miles you put on your Burgman, the more you'll appreciate it's great qualities.

I find myself planning my day by what the weather looks like. If it's half decent...then the Burgman is going out for some exercise! :D

I have had good success with the Dowco covers myself.

Welcome to the BurgmanUSA forums Buck. Glad to have you join us.

Congratulations on the 'pre-loved' 650. It's too bad that winter has set in and spoiled your riding enjoyment. Hopefully you'll get at least a few good riding days before spring.

Greetings Buck and congrats on the new ride. Sure is an eye opener when you ride on one isn't it  Defenitely capable of leaving the cruisers behind to bring up the rear.

Hi Buck

Welcome to the forum and the burger owner fraternity. :hello2:

As you are an old hand ploughing the furrows of this forum you will realise that parking the Burger up for the winter has a downside it also has an upside - you will have plenty of time to mod, customise and practice the art of tupperware oragami etc.!!

Welcome Buck, now is the time to get all the toy you want and install them as riding weather is almost over, I went for a nice ride today no problem with cold so far just a little wind whipping around the face shield I got. Where in North NJ are you, I am in North Bergen.

Welcome

Aloha Buck,

Congrats on your pre loved Burgie. I too just did the same, a Silver 2oo3 w/1,2oo). I am just over the Delaware in the Stroudsburg area. Perhaps sometime in spring or summer we can meet at Blairstown for a roll thru the country side.

Aloha, Glennnnnnnn

Hey Buck,

Welcome to the group from a fellow N. NJ Burg owner.

I just stored my bike for the season, but ride a lot in the nice weather with some fellow NJ forum members, perhaps you can join sometime...

Buck,
Welcome to the Forum. You sure got a good deal. There is another good deal on Ebay right now. Its a 650, 2003, the current bid is $1025.00, there is no reserve. The Burgman has 1200 miles and is in Charles City, Viginia. I can't find Dharles City, Viginia, on the map. The seller is asking $3300.00. The seller has a feedback score of ZERO. I've always been told that if it sounds to good to be true, it probally is. I know there are a lot of scams out there and I would hate to lose this if its real. Any members know this Burgman, let me know.

Map of Charles City, VA on Mapquest

But ... the auction screams SCAM to me.
