Nobody in the websites listed is making any claims about the wear factor. I have no beef's with the performance of any of Stones that I've ran on my bikes, other than cost per mile. I'm planning on Darksiding this spring, just for grins and etc. If I like it, i'll likely continue the practice, if not so much, I'll be back to motorbike tires. I'm also in search of a little better ride that other Darksiders have been claiming to get. My 06 Burgie was'nt quite so bad, but my 07 Exec rides almost as poorly as a Sportster, meaning most anything would help.

The Germans report slightly better mileage, but most of them seem to find that 5-6000 kms tire life is a price worth paying for grip.

I can't seem to locate these in the U.S. Is anyone here aware of a source for them in the States? My rear tire is looking like it has less than 500 miles left. So, I need to start shopping. Thanks!

I have the stock tire in front on my 650,,, getting about 18K miles on the front and a Protenza ct on the rear... Works great...
