Just purchased a 2013 Burgman and need advice on the following

1. Looking for a trunk from givi but do they make a rack for the new 2013 to fit the givi monokey trunk?

2. Bike to Bike FRS radio. On the Silverwing we had a radio mounted ont he handle bars to hold an FRS radio. The Burgman bars are different and can't use the old mounting method. Does anyone use the FRS radio and how do you secure it. I also have a JM Intigrator for music .

3. Who makes a tunnel bag that I can purchase for the Burgman. Again the one that we had on the silverwing is too large for the Burgman

4. Looking for a different windshield. Any recommendations between givi and clearshields.

I am using the GIVI trunk mount E529 and a Suzuki rear cover #46210-26810-RB5. GIVI's new trunk mount part # is SR3104. I do not know what the differences will be, but the old works if you buy the rear cover. I would guess the new mount includes some plastic pieces to cover the area were the passenger back rest was. The arrive date on the the new '13 GIVI parts is Aug-Sept-Oct-???.

The new GIVI WS number is D3104ST and will be available as noted in #1. I am going to use a Laminar LIP until the new GIVI WSs arrive.

I think the Clearview is the superior product but you may have to wait. Careful of the height. If you are 5 9 or 5 10 the lowest screen is what you want.

Apparently one for the 2013 is in the works - they are very nice to deal with

Stick with the Monokey over the cheaper monolock.

I have a new Givi V47NN trunk coming this Friday. I am told it will fit the Suzuki branded top plate...we'll see.

That is a nice looking top plate. It looks like Monokey trunks would fit it. Let us know how the trunk fits on the plate.

Do you have a Suzuki part number? Where did you get it? I did not see it on their web page.

Edit: I found it on the Suzuki Canada site. Did you get it in the US or Canada?

Thanks for the replies.. The problem with using the ram mount for the radio is that suzuki has covered the handle bars with tupperware that is not on earlier models. What about the tank bag? any source for that.

Is there a part number for the trunk plate and how much did they charge for the mount..

The tupperware was there before on the handlebars.. so a lot of folks have used the Motorcycle Larry oil resevoir mounts.. ( http://www.motorcyclelarry.com/inde...&cPath=65&zenid=4jkv2rd882fg9ia34sa964t003) I know nothing about the 2013.. so defer to a higher pay grade.. shouldn't that work on the 2013 as well?

RAM mounts and MotorCycle Larry ball mounts both fit on the brake reservoirs, so that should not be a problem. I have a RAM on my 2013 because I had it. I prefer the MCL ball mounts.

The Suzuki rear rack mount is part # 93200-26811, $114.95 and you need the install kit part # 93200-26820, $34.95, total $114.90. The GIVI is cheaper. I think you can get them for around $90-95. Someone on BUSA has one for sale for $50 + shipping in the classified ads.

If you talking about trunks, I think just about all trunks have a passenger backrest option.

Roy is the tupperware a seperate part of the mounting kit once the back rest is removed? You were able to get everything from GIVI correct?

The plastic rear cover is needed to cover the open area caused by removing the passenger backrest. It is Suzuki part # 46210-26810-RB5, $36.95. The E529 is a GIVI part. GIVI has a new part number for the monokey trunk mount for the 2013, #SR3104. I do not know what the difference will be with the E529. It is not available yet, maybe Aug, Sept, Oct.
