So are you getting power? Are the lights working and the gauges operating? If so the would eliminate a dead battery or loose battery cable.

Waggle the kill switch and try again, bump the sidestand up a couple times, cuss a little. then tell us what kinda codes you got

When you turn the bike on you should here the fuel pump cycling up before starting. Do you still here that when turning the key to the on position?

sometimes kickin an whackin thangs is the answer ;) (one type of aircraft I worked on in the military sometimes had to be kicked at a particular spot if it wouldn't start, then it started fine .
