the front windscreen cover (not sure what it's called) for my 2007 650.

We recently replaced my stock WWS with a Givi. Well, DH got a little to impatient and ended up breaking a couple clips off the cover. It's useable, but does need replaced.
Any idea where I can get one...or having the proper name so I can search better.

Thanks!

What you are referring to is I believe what Suzuki calls the windscreen cover. You don't say whether you have an Executive or not. The screens and cover are different between the Exec and standard 650. If you have the standard the part number is 94640-10G20. It's item number 7 on this parts fiche if you want to check that we are talking about the same thing. http://www.partshark.com/fiche_sect...ory=Scooters&make=SUZUKI&year=2006&fveh=10159

If you have an Executive the part number is 94640-10G10.

If you want to try gluing then the strongest is to use ABS plumbing pipe cement. It is getting hard to find though as most cities don't allow ABS plumbing anymore. About the only thing you can find now days is a universal pipe cement and it doesn't hold as well, especially on something like clips. The reason is it is an adhesive bond and the pure ABS glue is a melt bond. It chemically melts the two pieces together.

What I have done is use the universal cement to hold the piece in place then use an old screwdriver heated with a propane torch to melt the pieces together along the break line. That seems to hold pretty good. It does take some practice to learn to do it without ruining the piece though.

Well, I'll find out today. After I hacked mine to install the "monster horns", I ordered one...it is scheduled for delivery today from the Fed folks. I also ordered the Suzuki rear cover, rack and stopper kit at the same time. I should have a full day of fun ahead!
