Navy SEAL Museum Ride – Fort Pierce, Florida
Tuesday, February 04, 2014
My buddy Spooner and I took a scenic ride over to Fort Pierce and visited the Navy Seal Museum. What a fine collection of memorabilia including the craft from the Easter SEAL Rescue 2009. This was the craft that Captain Phillip’s was held hostage, Tom Hank’s portrayed. After our tour we rode A1A north to Sebastian and ate lunch at Captain Hiram’s on the Indian River. What a beautiful day to be out riding and enjoying the water scenery.
We left Sebastian heading west through Fellsmere picking up Hwy 60 close to Frost Proof picking up scenic Hwy 17 into Sebring, where Spooner lives. Then I headed to Okeechobee for an enjoyable 250 miles.
