About 14:15 CDT, I was going southbound at about milepost 311.5 (Colbert County, AL), hurrying to get away from an approaching thunderstorm, and I saw and waved to a northbound '07 AN400. Those are so distinctive because of the single headlight. (Or maybe it was just a blue 400 with a headlight out.)

Anyway, he was going into the storm. So was I, to some extent, but I had more time to get to shelter. He was going to be in heavy rain before the next exit, and there's not much in the way of shelter on that portion of the Trace. (Maybe an overpass over a gravel road, but you definitely couldn't get the bike down there.)

I made it home before there was much rain. I bet the 400 rider was soaked. Looked like he might be touring, too.

The 07 came in blue, I have one. Looks like its winking when you flash the high-beam. :D
