FINALLY my 2013 Burgman is here! Guess what....it's white! (fortunately I wanted white). As for the restyling, pros and cons are usually based on a question of taste so no need to get into that. I happen to like the subtle changes...and I've had four compliments in just two days!

What I will say is the bike is GREAT! Cycling at its finest! I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the new bike...other than the price. :pale:

I'll be breaking it in for a few hundred miles...then I'll take a nice, long journey. Until then, I'm just gonna enjoy the experience.

And yes...that IS a "Burgman smile" on my face. ;)

I especially like the black wheels. I think they really set the white paint off.

Anyone notice that the 2013 does not say executive or 650 anywhere on it? Just says "Burgman" on each side.

Excellent and congrats on the new 2013... looks real nice in the photos. Am looking forward to your impressions and review on daily living with the scoot... would be worthwhile to have some insight on any comparisons between the new revised model over and above the previous models. As is often the case it is the small day to day items that make all the difference in the world.

Hey Duster. I'm in Queens and Nassau County. It would be great to meet-up with some fellow Burgman riders! :D

I sure did Curly! Not sure why Suzuki did that. Maybe it's all part of the "restyling" of the bike.

So true bikerdoc. I can't say the overall "feel" of the bike is any different. It's still smooth, quiet, comfy, etc. The styling changes are of course a matter of taste. I happen to like the sleeker look; new lights; analog clocks, black wheels, etc. The seat is shaped differently. Since I use an AirHawk it may be a non-issue. The relocated parking brake will take some getting used to...but it is easy to access. The compartment with the DC outlet is much larger. Brakes seem "tighter"...but that could be the newness of the bike. Under-seat compartment is smaller...but still large enough for my helmet, jacket, gloves, etc.
I'm still in the "breaking-in" stage, so I haven't REALLY opened her up yet (keeping it under 4,000 rpm). I'll post any significant findings as they develop.

I plan on buying a new 650 2013 tomorrow in white I hope I like it as it's kinda pricy & new trans and all but seems every one likes it so far. I am just concerned the windshield will go up high enough but will check tomorrow as I am 6 ft and hate having wind right in my face.
