We don't get Haddock out west. :(
But the Alaskan Pollock is good too.

I LOVE fish taco's over bread sandwiches. I get them with Mexi-Cream and habanaro sauce.

Pollock is good, Halibut should be easily available in Washington as well, now that's some good eating, blackened, grilled, fried, stewed with tomatoes and onions. Halibut is my favorite (not readily available here). Mexi-Cream and habanero sounds great, never tried it.

Yes Halibut is very good but $$$. If you go downtown Seattle to Anthony's Fish House's distribution warehouse, you can get a deal on 10+ pound packs. They sell their seconds to other fish restaurants. It is still very good quality.

Mexi-cream is special sour cream. Most stores have it. Great with cabbage on fish tacos.

Habanero to me brings a slow but through burn that is not over powering.
Habanero sauce is a good fine chopped picante sauce with a few dollops of Habanero sauce. Some places use pico de gallo with Habanro sauce on the side. Marie Calander has a nice bottle in the stores and I think Trader Joes too.

I like serrano peppers cut in half, grilled, then some lime juice, salt and paprika.

Some family members question me if I am really Danish. ;)

Well, just as I was walking out for my Veterans Day Ride, the sky opened up with a frog choker. I waited, thinking it was a large band leftover from the Hurricane...nope still raining. Shift gears and change out my filter, install Suzuki stickers and I will finally install my side stand pad which I've been procrastinating with.

Veteran's Day Ride

Rain stopped, I still was able to get an afternoon ride in, temperature just 76°...perfect. great day, a little maintenance and a little ride. Tomorrow, I twisted my friend Dan's arm into riding for a Beef on Weck. I can't wait, really enjoy riding with Dan and our conversations.

This is my City of Seminole, truly a great place to live if you have to live in Florida.

Gulfport, Florida O'Maddy's - Home

Local ride today for lunch in Gulfport, Florida @ O'Maddy's for their famous Beef on Weck, delicious.
Good day riding, I got zero done around the house. No time for pretty aircraft carrier fighter jet parking, too much traffic on this day, just happy to find a place to pull into.

Another stop on the way home was to show him my favorite Creole New Orleans style restaurant. Off the beaten path, locals only no tourists. Shrimpy Blues Bistro, great food, fun place. Shrimpys Waterfront Seafood Restaurant in St Pete Beach | New Orleans Florida Fusion

Have I mentioned how much we enjoy these bikes. We both have been riding our entire lives from childhood and both have been having a blast on these Burgman's...Awesome bikes. Funny thing is, until 6 months ago I would not have considered or been caught dead on a scooter. Now you can't pry me off.

Almost forgot...
A beef on Weck is a sandwich found primarily in Western New York State, particularly in the city of Buffalo. It is made with roast beef on a kummelweck roll, a roll that is topped with kosher salt and caraway seeds. The meat on the sandwich is traditionally served rare, thin cut, with the top bun getting a dip in au jus and spread with horseradish.

Okay, last sticker...no more.

All detailed, fluids checked, air pressure checked. Heading North tomorrow. No idea of my destination, a hearty breakfast at my local diner, then north to my riding zone. I can probably knock on any door and get a free turkey sandwich for lunch.

This morning's ride is postponed due to weather. I'm socked in with a dense sea fog, visibility is zero. I'll take the wife to breakfast and wait for it to burn off. It's just not worth it driving through this city to get to my riding zone, these drivers are dangerous on a sunny day, let alone zero visibility. Much rather arrive home on two wheels than a Rok bag.

Washed & Waxed
Washed & waxed... Three years of joy since I bought this little commuter. Been busy and neglecting her. Today she got a bath, clay bar, compound and wax. New air filter, cabin air filter, spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body. She cleaned up nice, I'm impressed with the factory finish and clear coat. It's holding up very well in the harsh Florida sun. I rarely use my 4Runner anymore. Love this little car. I've been spending too much time on the Burgman, the Xbox needed attention today.

I collect Suzuki hats; most are fairly common or plain like we've all seen on heads. I found this one on eBay for $10 bucks and took a gamble. This thing is brandie newskie condition. I love the popping color, fits perfect. The seller was awesome, great communication, he included candy in the shipping package that said, "Enjoy the candy, if you are not pleased for any reason reach out so I can fix it" Pretty cool little gimmick for a seller that actually cares and wants good reviews for his online business. I like this hat better than any of my overpriced Suzuki hats. Riding tomorrow with a friend.

Now you need a couple of these
Thats very nice Dave, I ordered several for my jackets. I didn't see a size posted in the description wondering if it's breast pocket size or full-blown rear jacket club patch. Thanks
