I've seen some of you with your little "colour-filled maps" icons on here - I'm wondering if they represent states you have been/driven to/through, or states that you have been/driven to/through only on motorcycle/scooter?

Anyway - it got me curious about myself. I've been to all 50 states (plus Puerto Rico and most of Canada and some of Mexico), one way or another - but my scooter travels are more limited. So, I decided to figure it out. Here is what I came up with for my scooter-only travels:

Alaska (250)
New Mexico (250)
S. Carolina (250/500)
New York (250)
West Virginia (500)
Washington (250)
Texas (250)
N. Carolina (250/500)
Vermont (250)
Indiana (500)
Oregon (250)
Louisiana (250)
Virginia (180/250/500)
Maine (250)
Illinois (500)
California (250)
Alabama (250)
Maryland (250)
Michigan (250)
Arizona (250)
Florida (250/500)
Deleware (250)
Pennsylvania (500)
Nevada (250)
Georgia (250/500)
New Jersey (250)
Ohio (500)

Canada (all 250)
Yukon Territory
Ontario
British Columbia
Manitoba
Quebec
Saskatchewan
New Brunswick
Alberta

Mexico (all 250)
Baja California

The 180/250/500 indicates the cc of the bike. So, in keeping with whatever tradition people are using - should I fill out the map with all the places I've been, or only the places I've been on my scooter, as indicated above? :)

In the context of this forum, I always assumed it was indicative of places visited on 2 wheels.. Of course you know what they say about assumptions...

Canada
USA
Cuba
Egypt
Columbia (South America)
Scotland

Drove a 3 wheel truck in Jonestown, Guyana but that was not for fun. :puke:
