Congrats, I think everyone should take the course and get the endorsement even if they're not planning on owning a motorcycle.
Sorry Scotty..................!!!!!! BUT what would be the point in doing that..??????? Sorta like taking flying lessons but never planning on piloting a plane afterwards...!!!!

taking the course without owning a bike might smarten up the cagers just a bit more about bikes and lower the kill ratio, but first we gotta make sure they pay attention to what they learned in cager school, like put down the dang phone, and the tater chips , pay attention to that two wheeled thingie on the road with a human stuck on it's back

congrats on passing the course, now you can practice a while and sign up for the ARC

V8eyedoc, as MikeyMarine stated, it gives them perspective from the other side which may help them drive a little safer and pay more attention / more easily notice scooters and bikes on the roads with them. Around here the Motorcycle Class is only $20 / $25 dollars so it's reasonably affordable for most, flight lessons on the other hand can run thousands, not really something the average person can afford.
