Interesting but I was changing the Oil when I found my bad tire...so now that I'm on the road again I noticed that the Engine seems to be running a bit Smoother and Quieter than it was....

The Only Difference I can attribute it too...

Different Grade and Brand of Oil...Previous Changes done at the Dealer using Suzuki 10w-40...

I put in Shell Rotella 15w-40.

Maybe the noise and lack of smoothness was the result of the bad tire?

Tire had a Nail in it but still a possible cause for some of it...Still a Fan of the Heavier Rotella though...that and Frequent (at least Twice as Often as Recommended) Oil changes.

Oil is still a bargain today. You can't go wrong by increasing the oil change interval.

The two primary enemies of oil are high heat and contaminants. The Burgs have modern temperature regulated engines. Heat is not a problem. Internal and external (environmental) contaminants are not a problem either. One can adhere to Suzuki's oil change schedule with confidence, or change the oil more frequently for added peace of mind.
