Miles Ridden in 2004

Each year at this time I record the final mileage on my bike(s). Then I subtract last year's final mileage to calculate miles ridden for the year.

For 2004:

V-Strom DL1000 3,073 miles (less than last year)
Burgman AN650 9,698 miles

Total miles ridden 12,771

I know that there are other forum members who can beat that. Even if you rode less than that, it would be interesting to see how much everyone rode this year. So feel free to post your mileage if you know it.

My Mileage

Mileage for 2004

HD Electraglide Ultra Classic: approximately 1,500 miles before selling it.

Road Hawk trike: 1,500 miles

Burgman: 3,900 miles

Suzuki XL-7: 7,500 miles

Gulfstream Motor Home: 5,000+ miles

Probably won't put any miles on the trike next year since we're on the road for the next 18 - 30 months touring the country and its sitting at home in storage. We plan on visiting every state in CONUS except Alaska. We're towing the XL-7 and have a lift for the Burgman. Hope to explore all the good roads on the Burgman and maybe even take in a few rallies along the way.

Retirement: It's all it's cracked up to be

DR350 - 3175 miles
AN650 - 9976 miles

Chickenman's AN400 - about 150 miles.

Total - 13,301 (not including short rides on other people's bikes)

Bought my 400 end of March had 500 miles on it, just came in from a ride and turned 16,300
so 15,800 this year ,but I was sick for a month

I only put 8, 000 on my p/u and only 3,000 on the BMW

I'm impressed with the mileage of my fellowburgsters. I wish I had the time or the NE Ohio weather was condusive to daily riding.

I rode 1404 miles in 2004 wish it could have been more, but didn't start till June , didn't get endorsement till November, & have so many irons in the fire that I didn't have when I was working, don't know how I did everything when I did work

I got the 650 Burger in March and have 32,000 km or about 20,000 miles on it now. Overall average of 64 miles per gallon (Imperial). Still on original tires but need a new rear one soon. Best all around bike I've ever had.

Well, we do seem to be riding these things! :wink:

Talked to a guy recently who owns a Suzuki Hayabusa. He's only done 2000 miles in three years!

Glad to see that everyone has been out there enjoying their Burgmans!
