I was bored, looking at mapquest, well for Minot AFB there are large patches that are obviously unnatural appearing- I believe that is where missile silos are.
So why would anyone do this, it's not like people don't know what they look like.
I assume it's the gummint at work.

Since Minot AFB was primarily a SAC B-52 airbase,
I highly doubt that there were any underground
missle silos on the property. Silos were usually
located 'in-the-middle-of-no-where', far from any
large number of people...better security also.
