Does anybody have a flag mount on their 650? I just joined the Ohio Patriot Guard and need to ride with a flag. I don't know anything about motorcycle flag mounts.

Any "proven" recommendations?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Since you are riding a 'trike', there should be someplace
where someone can help you mount a piece of tubing
for a 3 X 5 flagpole. Many PGR riders just use a smaller
flag on a luggage rack mount.
I use an aluminum plate on my luggage rack, & use a
12 X 16 flag...best I can do on my 400. Some 650
riders that have a trailer hitch, use the hitch as a
base for a flag mount to fly larger flags.
Even though you don't have a flag mount right now,
check out the flag mounts that other riders have, as
you participate in Missions. Gather ideas, then work on
a solution for your application. I have seen riders use
a window-mount flag from Walmart, on their luggage
box/tailbox/topbox...whatever you call it.

Mount something (a 5-6" tube with a screw to lock the flag staff in place, perhaps) to the luggage rack, maybe? It could be attached with hose clamps for easy removal.

Bolted a 1/8'' aluminum bracket on the rear muffler support and use a 4' fiberglass antenna to hold a 2'x3' flag.
