As a few of you know I'm pretty new to the site. My wife has the 400 and I have the 650 as of 9-9-12. reading ,I have noticed several things folks have changed or added to their bikes. I have done all three oils and filters, changed spark plugs, added beepers to the directionals, added the mud flap, made my own passenger back rest out of a pair of sport saddlebags, added the cable release in case my key gets locked under the seat, removed the magnets out of the shudder lock so I can't get locked out, added an air compressor and tire repair kit, built a driver backrest extention out of a walmart nylon cutting board, it raises the standard backrest about 4 inches. and have a spare key hidden in the bike and added a screw to the air filter door so it wont fall off. Most of these things were things were found on BUSA forums. oh yea, the mouse house is closed. So i'm looking for ideas for my next project. Any ideas I can steal from you ?

Doug, My luck would be I'd spend $20 on a Power Ball, pick the winning number, spend big bucks getting a managing lawyer, go to claim my winning only to find out that I must share it with 10,000 others that picked the same number. "Here's your $20 Mr J, that's your cut of the winnings. Do you want half in lump sum or a 40 year annuity? By the way, the IRS is waiting outside the door for their cut." :D

Ok , I'm in now.

I took the Grip puppies off my 1985 BMW R80 ( for sale by the way) and put them on my new Burgman
Removed the stock butt rest and am deciding if i want to replace it or just ride without it.
