I toss my black gloves in either the underseat trunk or the forward gloveboxes and they disappear. It took me two days of looking before I noticed the black tool kit in the black trunk, even with the light on.

Yes, white would get dirty and look dirty. But how about a silver or pewter colored interior for the storage areas? Got a Blue Burgman? How about any color that compliments the blue... Light blue, red, gray or silver or pewter also.

Love my black Burgman. hate it's black compartments.

That's OK.. You didn't say it in this forum. I'll say it again:

Interior color of storage areas need to be lighter! The underseat storage is lined with some black-hole light sucking material that make the built-in light useless.

Sounds like a great idea....for the first year. Wear will show up as stains though. Take it from me as my work truck as a light brown interior with all kinds of smudge marks and dirt showing.

Maybe a second light - up under the back end of the compartment - to get rid of the shadows from the seat mounted light?
