Not really any farther than it is from Tampa, and I've cruised through that region. Never taken the ferries though. If only I had vacation time, I'd recommend we plan to meet in the middle!

That ride is right in my neck of the woods. A little west of me but I expect my wife and I will ride it when the weather warms some.
