I recently added some LED lights to my 400.

A pair of 5 inch white either side of the mouth. (light up the front wheel) Red ones 5 inch beneath the rear bodywork, toward the end of the bike. (side markers) Amber ones 2 inch each side, under the cowl, where your feet are. (side markers)

I used Oznium.com flexible strips, bought a roll of 3M super sticky double sided tape to mount them.

The lights are bright all right. But are small too. They show up well at night. The lead wires are small diameter and difficult to work with. The company is helpful and they answer their phone. :)

If you use LED lights, think about getting longer strands than you first wanted. They will show up better.

I'll try, my flip phone cell camera doesn't take good night pix. But the lights look good though :)

Pix finally. The Walmart LEDs beside the license plate can be switched from brake lights to running lights, I hid a SPDT switch in the luggage box.

All connections are made to a Radio Shack terminal strip hidden behind the rear Tupperware.
