If they'd lop off another 165lbs and $1,300 off that thing, I'd try one.
Otherwise, I'd expect early wear of the CVT assembly/Belt/Clutch and the inability to brake suddenly. Plus, high wind stability would make you a test pilot for the rest of us. The trailer may weigh 310lbs but the addition of load ballast (sleepbags/water/tools/food/cooking/batteries) may be required for it to stay where you want it to while moving and stopping and also in emergencies.
The website makes no mention and has no photographs of Burgman types, having a good time 2,500 miles from home.
Let them test that kind of configuration for us, first.
