Revzilla has begun selling these flip ups and I upgraded from my Nolan N104 because it's about a pound lighter. My neck and shoulders no longer get sore!

Really neat is the Transitions visor that darkens according to light. It gets as dark as any sunglasses. It also vents extremely well.

It's pretty small. I needed a 2XL vs. XL in other helmets. A bit hard to get on and off but comfortable once on. I had to carve out just a bit of the ear pockets to get the Sena SMH10 speakers to fit without bothering my ears.

It's reasonably quiet and I can easily listen to tunes or podcasts at highway speeds.

Pricey at $499, but I'd highly recommend this helmet.

I came very close to getting one on Daboo's recommendation. He is very happy with his as well. The price tag is what got me in the end (missed their sale by a paycheck).

I ended up with a LS2 for $80 complete with 2 shields (clear and smoke) both pinlock ready.

3.3 lb is pretty good for a convertible.

The AFX FX-55 Hi-Vis Helmet I have on order I think will be about the same weight tho hard to tell as it's modular in the extreme.

Transitions sun shield sounds cool tho
