Heys guys and gals, what product do you use to repell the rain off your windscreen. Givi says no to Rain-x. Recommended Nu-Finish. Rain/fog tested today. Results not good. Recommendations please ..... - Sirkitrider

I have been using a product called "NIKWAX VISOR PROOF".........which is available thru many motorcycle shops........... Also prevents fogging on your helmet visor, as well.

It is called "NIKWAX" VISOR PROOF..... and a 4.2 oz spray bottle cost me in Massachusetts - $11.75 + tax...... Here is their toll free #.............1-800-563-3057 I have had that little bottle for about 3-4 years now.......!!! Good luck.

well, the roof of my garage is the only thing I had found effective , normally the water blows off at just over 90mph (so I'm told )

When I had a GIVI shield,,, I used Lemon Pledge... I just changed to a Clearview XXL and use rain-x and it works great... I had it out for a ride a couple of days ago and the rain did not do anything but rolloff... works for me...

And here all along I thought the windscreen was supposed to keep the water off of you not you keep it off the windscreen.

I have always waxed my windshields on cars and windscreens on bikes.
Whether it is furniture wax, car wax, or bike wax they all do a decent job of repelling the water.
I currently use EagleOne nanowax or the free can of Plexus I got at a bike rally.
Whichever is in reach at the time.
