When you buy a textile motorbike jacket it usually comes with a short sewn-on zip at the rear complete with its counterpart ready for sewing to motorbike trousers. Does anyone use this facility and if so how do you manage when in the loo? Just curious.

I use it when it gets colder, the zipper is easy enough to open/close, generally you engage it on the left side and get through the right side, pretty easy, less than 5 seconds.

I've ran into some quick run offs to the loo and it is easy to dismount it.

I rarely use it for two reasons.

While wearing both:
1) I can't zip it up to begin with.
2) I can't unzip them once on.

Without mating them before I put them on it is a struggle I no longer have the flexibility for. The one pair I use I have to pre-mate them and put on the pants then the jacket attached. Removal is just the opposite - jacket then pants then unzip and un-mate them.
The joys of back surgeries and old age.
